NICK FRANK
Some beautiful shadows and angles come together here in what could be mistaken as Darth Vader's weekend retreat. I would love to be able to photos like this. From what I can gather this was taken in Munich, an amazing city that I miss dearly! Check out more of Nick's work here.

BRANDON HEART
And now for a slight departure from retro futurism and back to zombies and skeletons. The colours, the style, the composition, the expression on that poor bastard's face, Brandon Heart has nailed it all in this epic illustration that I would happily wear on a shirt. Brandon has many more amazing pieces here.

KERVIN BRISSEAUX
My love for all things neon, eighties-looking and retro futuristic continues with these illustrations by Kervin Brisseaux. I think the addition of Japanese characters is a wonderful touch and introduces a slight anime feel. See more of Kervin's amazing work here.

KILIAN ENG / DW DESIGN
Through my recent interest in retro futurism in both art and music I've come across Kilian Eng's work a lot – and I thought it was about time I posted some of it here. I love it, I think I prefer his more technological pieces, where lights and space travel remind me of all the good things about good sci-fi. Check out his tumblr page for loads more of his work.

8-BITTY: THE WORLD'S MOST EPIC VIDEO GAME T-SHIRT
Design is another that I entered into the Design by Humans 8-bit t-shirt design competition. I thought I'd try a different approach to an 8-bit tee with this design, a little more traditional. The title, a gigantic call, is just a lighthearted poke at bombastic marketing, essentially I just wanted to reference as many video game clichés as I could within the given timeline (which wasn't much time at all). You can see all my 8-bit designs here. I am in the process of getting these shirts printed, it's just taking longer than I would have thought. 8-BITTY: THEY GOT THE SARGE
They got the Sarge! One of them took a bite out of his shoulder then others started ripping into torso. I thought we'd lost him but after a while he got back up. A few minutes later they slowly walked away so I went over to see if he was okay and he attacked me!! I put half a clip into his chest but he kept coming for me. He bit me pretty good but I think I'll be okay. Vote for this design on design by humans! If you dig it, head over to design by humans and give me a vote! Thanks yo! 8-BITTY: CHEWBITTY
Finally the mighty Chewbitty is here! Wearers of this shirt can enjoy the ability to rip people's arms out of their sockets but may also be referred to as a walking carpet. For more 8-bitty check out my 8-bitty behance page and stay up to date on the 8-bitty facebook page!
8-BITTY: 8-SITHY
I'd been thinking about doing this design for a while. I'm really quite happy with how it turned out. This is the only one of my 8-bitty all over designs that doesn't have print on the back of the shirt. For more 8-bitty check out my behance page and stay up to date on the 8-bitty facebook page!

FRANCISCO PEREZ
I always got a bit freaked out during sci-fi films when some unfortunate soul was projected into space away from their space craft with nothing to control their trajectory, dependant on the life support offered by their space suit, usually only lasting several hours. I can't think of a more lonely way to die. Alone in the cold, black void of space – which I assume is what happened to this poor lad above (top). The second piece, I thought was just really cool. The minimal use of colour has resulted in a strong output and really unique use of lighting. Nice pieces here by Francisco Perez, check out more of goodness here.

It's a skull floating in a universe of pink gelatinous jelly goo and party drugs (or head ache pills). I love it. Grapheart has plenty more art that is plenty cool and plenty excellent. GO.

RYAN UHRICH: DIMENSIONAL ANALOGS
I've seen a lot of abstract geometric shape compostions similar to these, although these are a lot more kick-ass than the others I've seen. I've even been delving a little into i myself. There's a strong astronomical vibe, it almost feels religious in some way too. Anyway I'm going to try and post more of these because I like them, if there's a particular name of this style someone please tell me, in the meantime I'm going to label this as astrogeometric. These are part of a series I found on Ryan's behance page. Check out the rest here.

KAIT KYBAR: CHARACTERS
Character art, there is so much of it out there, and so much is awesome and wicked – so many character artists have amazing imaginations. Kait Kybar seems to have carved out a bit of a niche for himself – I think his work stands out from a lot of what I've seen. This piece in particular caught my eye, very cool mech-militant-robot-dude, love the colour and mood. Check his work here.

COLORCUBIC: LOGO & ALBUM ARTWORK FOR A GAP BETWEEN
I'm loving this sythy/80s revival in music that's hitting the fringes of electro. And along with the music comes the awesome artwork. I hadn't heard of A Gap Between before but as soon as I saw this artwork I new what I was in for, and a quick visit to youtube proved me right! Well done to Colorcubic for nailing this, visual communication at its best. Check out more their tasty work here.
ERIC PALMER: 8-BIT MOVIE POSTERS
In light of my 8-bit tees I thought I'd post these epically cool 8-bit movie posters. There is something really quite humble about 8-bit graphics and I love that they have found a place in today's art world – although hopefully not to be over done. There are plenty more examples on Eric's behance page.
